The phone is how a person gets into the building, finds the people they came with, and gets home. Treating that like optional equipment is how a good night becomes a problem in a parking lot. Charge it before leaving the house. That is the whole brief. The rest is what happens when people do not.
Texas rooms are bright on the way in and dark on the way out. Rideshare lots at Moody Center, American Airlines Center, and Toyota Center do not care that the encore was beautiful. They care that a battery hit 4 percent while a song already owned was being filmed. A portable charger in a small bag is not a personality. It is how a map still exists when the house lights come up.
Screenshot the pass in case the wallet app flakes. Some doors want the live barcode. Some will take the picture. Have both. Brightness-up at a scanner is a line nobody asked to be in.

A short cable
A six-foot cord is a desk setup. It will catch on a merch table. Short USB-C. If the brick and the phone do not match, the brick stayed home for decoration.
Do not count on the building
Moody Center is not going to charge a phone. Toyota Center is not going to charge a phone. Some festival sites have lockers. Some bars have a strip that should not be hovered over. None of that is a plan. The plan is 100 percent at the door left from, and a battery in the bag the door will actually let through. On a long outdoor bill — day one of something like ACL — the battery is as necessary as water. Shade and a signal will still kill a phone that started at 60.
The ride home is the feature. Send a location while there is still one to send. A dead phone on the walk to the lot is a crowd of people doing the same walk, minus proof of where to be picked up. Charge it at home. Put the battery in the bag with the earplugs. Spend the night on the room, not on the percentage in the corner of the screen.
